Mad Hatter Bakery owner Audra Lalli opened Mad Hatter Bakery in 1997 after graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts.

Cake decorating is Audra’s specialty, ranging from small cupcakes to large wedding cakes. She is able to beautifully replicate invitations on cakes and is noted for her artwork.  She spends a lot of time designing unique cakes, specially for each of her clients.

In the past 20 years, Audra has won numerous awards for her baking and artistic strengths,  Hundreds of devoted fans have voted for her, earning 9 Best of Rhode Island Awards, 4 Mercury Love Awards, and 8 Newport Life Awards.  If you haven’t yet, you must come in and sample some of her brilliance.

The Mad Hatter Bakery is conveniently located in downtown Newport at 64 Broadway across from City Hall. Ample parking is available on the street and in parking lot at the rear of the bakery.
